Michael, who is a lawyer within the Registry of the European Court of Human Rights, mentioned the case of Sanchez-Sanchez v UK. The ECtHRs has recently released judgement. The decision establishes a new framework for dealing with cases of extradition to the USA where sentences of life without parole are an issue.
